Rural Pharmacy Workforce Program Rural Commissioned Projects

The Rural Commissioned Projects / Research Scheme operated under the Fourth Community Pharmacy Agreement as an initiative of the Rural Pharmacy Workforce Program (RPWP). The RPWP was established in recognition of the key role pharmacists play in maintaining the health of all Australians, particularly in rural and remote Australia. The objectives of the RPWP are aimed at increasing access to pharmacy services in rural and remote areas and strengthening and supporting the rural and remote pharmacy workforce in Australia.

The objective of the Rural Commissioned Projects / Research Scheme was to promote the delivery of quality pharmacy services to rural and remote communities through projects and research which address determined areas of need.
