Emergency Locum Service
The Emergency Locum Service provides support to pharmacists in rural and remote areas through direct access to locums in emergency situations such as illness, bereavement, or family emergencies. The service provides 24 hour a day, seven day a week telephone access and up to $2,500 to fund the travel costs of the locum. The service aims to place a locum in any location in Australia within 24 hours for a maximum of 7 days.
