Continuing Professional Education / Professional Development Allowance

 

The CPE/Professional Development Allowance provides financial support to assist pharmacists from rural and remote areas to access CPD and Professional Development activities.

The CPE Allowance is open to those who meet the following eligibility criteria. Applicants must:

  • be an Australian citizen, or permanent resident of Australia (certified copy of; passport photo page, Australian birth certificate, Australian citizenship certificate);
  • be a practicing pharmacist, intern pharmacist, a pharmacist preparing to re-enter the workforce, or a professional educator travelling to a group of practicing pharmacists in a rural area to deliver CPD;
  • reside and work in a rural or remote area of Australia (this criterion doesn’t apply to professional educators travelling to a rural area to deliver CPD); and
  • provide evidence to validate claims, eg proof of attendance and receipts. Please contact the Rural Pharmacy Workforce team if you are having difficulty obtaining your CPD Accredited Group 2 or 3 supporting documentation.

Applications for this Allowance are submitted online. Mailed or faxed applications will not be accepted.
